I just went to newegg and looked at their re-furbs...they only offer a 15 day warranty...You might want to go to abit's authorized re-furb distributor...Abit warranties these boards for a full year..and the savings are pretty good.

In fact, they have an AT7 Max (not the Max2!) that is brand new. I assume it was returned due to no legacy,(which is the customer's fault for not paying attention) but now it's considered an "open box." BUT, they are still offering a 3 year warranty on it..and it's only $65.00! Here's a link;

I bought a board from them once that I had to return. It greenlighted, but was flaky the rest of the way...They exchanged it for me no prob. (although I did have to wait about a week extra to get it back, which sucked.) But other than that, it was pretty painless.

The MSI K7N2 Delta is Just as good as the Asus A7N2. I am sure the Asus costs more, so I would go with the MSI board.

If you go with a MOBO that does not have the Nforce 2 chipset, I would suggest a KT 600 board, its only a little slower then the Nforce 2 and from what I heard its not near as glitchy.

Have you looked at the chaintech 7NJL3? It has an nForce2 chipset 400FSB, DDR400, AGP8X, ATA133, 6Ch Audio, Lan - ATX (Retail Box) for $62.00 shipped. Support XP up to 3200. The warranty on these are 1 year.

(I dont know anything else about this board...might want to search for reviews)
