hotmail thru OE..security issues??

From what I hear, hotmail is pretty unsecure, or easy to hack eyc.

Would there be any added security risks to using OE to check hotmail?

Would it add or lessen security or do neither?

lol.

Any ideas on the subject??

or would it just add all the hotmail spam to my somewhat spamfree juno email thru OE account?

JP

Hmmm thats an interesting question
Does Hotmails <sarcasm> SUPERB </sarcasm> spam filters filter out mail for the inbox it sends to Outlook express... maybe it creates a spam folder in OE?
Anybody know?

IMO its going to overload your inbox with a nice spamwich meal everyday

OE in itself is the biggest security risk.. adding hotmail on top of that just makes the poison slighly more poisonous I guess

Just hoping you got ALLLLL patches!

I access Hotmail via OE. It does create a "Bulk Mail" folder, but frankly 99.9% of all the Hotmail I receive is spam, whether it goes in the Hotmail "Inbox" or "Bulk Mail" folder. I don't even remember why I started to use Hotmail (may have been the only way I could get email when on the road, way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth...).
