i had this problem. whatcha gotta do is turn off vsync on ur video card, and if that doesnt work, then, nothing will, its a common problem, but when i got it, vsync fixed it, then i got it again after a while, and i did the factory restore and its been fine ever since
I just bought a new video card, a TI4200, and it worked great. Started playing games on it (Nephew) and after two weeks, everything seemed to sllooowww down. Swapped out the video card with a generic TNT2 and worked great (for the TNT2), turned out the card slowly went bad. This corrected the problem with the lag.
