Outdoors my benchmark SUCKS!!! need help!!!

Hi,

I got a
p4 2.8 (no oc)
512 Dual DDR400
Ti4200 (no oc) err thats...250/450 i think.
some crap deleted 5400 speed hard drive

i tried a benchmark on 3dmark2003 and i got 1425...sth like that, which is fine, but the problem is on one of the tests called "cpu test 2" im getting my deleted by every single comp listed in my range, even the lowest guy almost doubled me.

does anyone know wat the "cpu test 2" does?? and how can I get it back up?

Did u download the patch for 3dMark2003? The initial release had some serious issues. If you didn't get the patch grab it and try again.

BTW the way 3dMark is really more of a videocard benchmark more than anything. 2003 is levered toward DX9 cards like the GeForce FX 5600, 5900 and the ATI 9800.

thx =)

i actually got the problem fixed, just for anyones informations, the reason it was doing that was because i was using the 'core center' that came with my msi motherboard, which was supposed to automatically oc my comp from windows, but it slows me down more than anything, everything worked fine after i uninstalled it.
