wireless routers

I now have a Linskys BEFSR41 router but it seems as though it is going bad because it doesn't allow me internet access on one of the computers at times and when service people at Roadrunner heard this they tell me the router is bad. It's only four months old. Inasmuch as I will need a different router would wireless be the better choice. I know nothing about wireless and wonder if some of you would suggest different models you have and what the approximate cost is. The prices seem to raom all over the place. Is a wireless hard to install an do all of them have a print server with them. I would appreciate any help

I would switch the cat5 cables around on the router. That is connect the pc that works to the port the pc that doesn't work is connected to and vise versa to verify the router you have is actually bad.

Wireless is nice but you may get more headaches with it. You will need to upgrade the nic's in your pc's to wireless, get them installed and working. Then you may have a problem with signal strength etc. Everything may just work... but you know how this stuff goes

I have a D Link 614+ wireless router and, weather permitting I LOVE to sit in the backyard with a cool one and surf the net, e mail, etc. You can get started quite cheaply these days if you go 811 b. There just about giving this stuff away. Wireless is COOL !
