HD setup and speed

allright im trying to build a fast gaming rig i was thinking of getting 2 HDs one standard IDE 7200rpm for data and my OS and a SCSI just for my games. would i notice better speed an performance like this or should i just go with 2 ide drives. if i go with the ide drives im going with a large capacity drive.

getting scsi just for one drive would be a bit overkill - i would say get one of those wd sata raptors and a large ata or sata for your data
