ok its way to hot plz help!

ok so i shut down my comp leave it for ten minutes start it up and go straight to the bios and leave it monitoring my cpu temp and with no load its 62 degrees!!! i know thats way to much iam not over clocking at all why is it this hot.


motherboard = A7V8X-X asus
CPU= Briton 2500+ amd running @ 1833 clock
GFX = G4 4800 SE 128mb
RAM= 512 ddr (333mhz)

plz help!

what kind of setup do you have....rounded cables , case fans, what temp is the room?
What kind of heatsink fan combo is on the CPU?
Is the HSF set properly on the CPU?

What's the voltage on your cpu? Is it 1.65v?

i have the factory fan on the cpu and a extra fan in the case and one of my graphics card
my cables are not that neat in there there not much room
the room temp is about 25
and i have default factory heatsink that came with my briton 2500+ amd

sounds like you need more fans, amds do run hotter so sufficient cooling is a must, try to organize those wires also
