Its a dumb unneeded thing having to do with fcc emissions testing, lol.

The equipment can only emit so much radiated power blah blah...so this thing called "spread spectrum" helps the companies to pass their emissons testing but it has no practical use as far as the BIOS is concerned.

No reason for it to be anything but off.
