My friend's dsl seems to be having some problem. He uses a Sony Vaio RZ and uses the onboard ethernet to connect to the DSL but now it doesn't even work. He also called Microsoft and said it was a winsoft problem of some sort but i couldn't help him either because i didn't know what winsoft was. Could you guys help us out? Thanks.
Check integrated peripherals in BIOS. I went for about 3 days trying to figure out what was wrong with my onboard ethernet before I realized I didn't even have the LAN port enabled. Other than that, we're gonna need more info.
