listen y'all I (just now) connected my tv's RCA sound output to my Soundblaster Live! 5.1's line input using an rca to 1/8 jack pl cable...
Problem is (heh :P
) that i only get 2 channel sound (only front speakers get the signal), which i fail to upmix to 4 channel \ 5 channel \ (anything higher than 2 channel) on the fly...
I wanna be able to listen to my tv using all of my speakers (inspire 5.1 system)...
in short - i just want a way to upmix the sound on the fly so my card could output it as a 4 (or higher) channel audio stream... whether a program can do it or theres some interesting way to do it i dont care, i just want it to work in real time....
P.S. - I dont have any digital inputs, and i tried CMSS upmixing in PlayCenter - it works for lotsa stuff but not for this issue, apparently.
