We have an external ADSL modem. It is connected directly to my husbands computer (XP) via USB cable. We then have a hub that connects my computer (laptop with XP) to his. We have set up the ICS. I can access most web pages, but not all. It also takes several refreshes before I can open a webpage. I know next to nothing about computers. Can you help?
...well if it works sporatically, that isnt a good sign. either some poor quality equipment, (hub, nic, cables) or his computer isnt playing a good host. for almost all situations like this i would recommend getting a linksys router/switch. works great and no hassles setting up.
