i think he just wants lots n' lots of pretty pictures & pick one that he wants. like a little kid in a candy store, doesn't matter if it's in the shape of a gummi bear or an animal cracker, as long as it tastes yummy
when it comes to cafe shops, what usually works is a "word logo"
cuz u want people walkin' by the store to be able to read the huge text instead seeing a huge symbol, it takes more reaction time to recognize the store.
it's usually the name that makes a cafe uique, we all seen coffee cups everywhere. but his store is unique, it's also a skateboard shop, so u don't wanna mess the concept up by havin' a big huge coffeecup.
"word logos" are your best bet when u want create a local hang-out.
