XP 2600 FSB & Temp

Can anyone solve this little problem?
I am using the Athlon XP2600 with thermaltake heatsink & fan. On a cold boot the Gigabyte Utility Manager reads the FSB is running at 1.243 MHz & the temperature is 50 c.
This still reads the same after about an hour of the pc running.
After a reboot the FSB is normal at 2.079 MHz & the temperature goes down to 40 c.

You might try flashing the BIOS if there's a newer one
