Strange message with the writer

i have a writer Hp ( Cd12 series ), while i burn a cd it alwayes terminted and give me a message on the blue screen, i run the burner on Hp software
i tried to reinstall the software and try again but the problem is same, when i try to insatll "Easy Creator" the software refused to start saying that it's not the Hp writer software.

so i connected my writer on other machine and the surprise is the writer worked proberly with no problem even on Easy Creator software

now i'm trying to solve this problem but firstly i want take your opinion.

but please note that now i'm sure that my writer is o.k because it worked on another computer so the problem could be in :

1- Windows me or
2- Power Supply


so what do you think ???

If you are running Windows ME, then I suspect that as being the problem. That OS has more bugs than any other MS OS. Easy CD Creator isn't a program known for its compatability either.

I would try this burning program, Nero. It has a free demo:

Check to ensure you get all the patches from MS.

Which power supply (PSU) do you have?

look , i really tried alot of other programs on this writer but all of them diden't work, and say it's not combatible.
note that my freind computer who i tried my writer on it was working also on windows me, and Easy Creator worked also on my writer without saying not comatible, although it's the same version of Easy creator
