Well, ATI makes the chip for the gamecube, so it wouldnt surprise me.

The Saturn killed Sega, the DC was extremely succesfull but it was not efficient enough to pull Sega out of its demise.

Saturn was the first system to use CD's wasn't it? Sega is always ahead of times but they can't keep it there.
