Printer isn't printing blue.
I have an Epson Stylus C60 printer, the blue color isn't printing correctly; there are horizontal lines where it doesn't put blue color, like when it's dirty. But I ran the cleaning utility a thousand times, probably using too much ink already, and it still isn't getting any better. I think my printer is out of warranty already, and I really don't have the money to buy a new one. Any tips for me....? I'll try almost anything.
edit- gotta add that this is a new print cartridge. I've taken it out once to try to fix it and it now prints more blue then before, but still leaves lines where no blue paint is present.

It may still be the cartridge, sounds like it's blocked by something. You DID take the tape off the bottom, didn't you? I've had that happen on more than one occasion. If that doesn't work, replace the cartridge. Doesn't work? The next thing would be to (and it can get slightly messy, on occassion) take a needle or the like and poke the hole in the blue part of the cartridge. Just jam the needle up their. Then do a cleaning, and see if that helps.

the cartridge works, I got it to the point now where it prints out whole blue square in the test thingy except it now has only 1 horizontal line which I can not get rid of, even after 3 cleanings. I tried printing a test picture, and it is awfully annoying to see this white line repeated over and over and over and over.

Auswak: yeah, it's as genuine as they come, unless office depot forged the box and the stuff inside to look like genuine epson material.
Peter...is that known on Epsons? I had a Epson stylus 440 and I had to throw it away because the stuff got so bad on black ink I couldn't read anything anymore...I thought it was just one printer, then I bought this one and it's doing the same thing now...

Yeah, jam a needle up the holes in the cartridge. Always worked for me!

Well as the article states, sometimes the big retailers don't even know themselves. The counterfeiters are getting pretty good these days.
