Mobo has 2.0 USB, case has 1.1
Will it work, but only at 1.1 speeds? is it a noticable difference? I want to hook up the front USB on my case to my motherboard, but I just want to make sure.

yes it will run at 1.1 speeds. You're not going to see a difference unless it's like a hard drive.

I think it'll run @ USB 2.0 speeds. The mobo is what matters not the plugs it hooks up to. They are the same and backwards compatible.

It's a marketing gimmick. Their's no reason why it shouldn't work.

That's the beauty of "standards":
One for all... All for one...
It's when theirs "more than one standard" that problems start arising...
