Kids Boot problems XP + AMD 2400+

I just installed an AMD 2400+ on a K7S5a PRO. When I boot up a windows error screen pops up too fast to read quickly followed by a reboot. I don't know if I have a windows error or hardware error. I suspect windows. Is there anything I can do short of reinstalling XP?
