AMD T-Bred

I am using a Antec CPU cooler with a Coolmaster fan on a XP 2200+, I get ok temps 50C Idle 54C Load, I can overclock from stock 1800 MHz to 1930 Mhz. I would like to get over 2000 Mhz, but it seems the PC wont do a MHz over 1930???

Any suggestions?

Look for the code on the cpu.

It should say someting like AIUHB or AIRGA and after that 4 numbers.

it is on the bottom line on the black spot.

If the 5 letters before the 4 digits end with an A, then you have a Tbred-A core, and your probably stuck there at 1.93Ghz.
My XP1700 A core would go to 1.93 too, ad nothing more.

On the other hand, if the 5 letters end with a B, then ya should be able to get higher.

Most of the A's were crap for overclocking. You may be topped out.
