What power supply do I need?

Hi all,
I have a EPOX 8K5A2 mobo,
A XP1700 OC'ed to 1.92 (XP2400),
A 9700 AiW 270/277 OC'ed to 330/300,
Two CD roms drives,
and one Maxtor 120GB 7200RPM HD.

I need a new power supply! (My old one just bit the dust today) I had a 400W cheap0 as they come one.
Money is VERY tight but I still need something that'll be good for the system I speced out above.
I was lookin @ this one:

(now u can kinda see my wimpy budget)

I do not recomend buying that Power supply... It may work for you or it may cause you all kinds of problems and have to be replaced like the one you have now...
(I have two of the same brand sitting in a cardboard box collecting dust)
This one is as about as cheap as you will find without losing quality...

I just ordered this one
http://www.buypcdirect.com/product.a...50w&dept_id=15
50 less watts but a bit cheaper and I don't need the 2nd fan.
I was impressed by it cuz it's got +12V 15A. I read somewhere about someone having problems with an +12V 11A ps....
Of course my 420W one that just died (Yes it was 420W not 400 like I said earlier) was +12V 18A... hmmm...
Wish I knew better what all this means..

if you have a amd xp cpu , you do need the dual fan . matter of fact amd says you should have a dual fan power supply . look at the specs on the pc you linked . it only has 15a on the 12 volt rail . that is cutting it close . the ps jp linked is a good one i run them in all my builds now .

I said I don't need the dual fans for a reason....
Let me explain.....
I have 4 mounted @ my CPU already. 1 on the HS of course, 1 an inch away from the HS above it (top of the case) sucking in cool air from outside, and 2 in the back where the PS WAS mounted naturally blowing hot air out.... I got my hands on a cool looking compact case, one of those ones where the PS is naturally mounted right in front of the CPU fan. Once I started OC'in I modified the case so the PS is now mounted @ the bottom front of the case, under the HD but with a few inches in between them both.. (blowing it's hot air out the front) I wanna get a HD cooler for my setup but that'll have to wait, as of now its not running hot but id still like one...
I like the lil case, so I took the time to make it work. I even mouted a slick lookin handle on top of it cuz I take it to lan parties a lot.

Does that 500W one JPMiller posted a link to have more then 15A? I don't see where it tells me on that site but both of you say you use them so do you know? More "A" is better I assume?

Wow, 25A! I've never seen any that high!
OK I'm canceling the one I ordered and getting one of these 500W buggers for $2 more!
Thanks guys! PS is a very important part of OC'ed PC (so I hear) and you all pointed me in a way better direction then my blind ass was gonna stumble to! Thanks a tone!
