boot up disk ???

How do I make a boot up disk in winxp pro?

the XP CD is bootable...but if you still want bootdisks here you go (6 disks, btw)

I was thinking that I could make a disk like in 98. All I want to do is restart w/disk in and format c:

no can do...even in like 2000 there was a seperate program that was needed to make bootdisks

what if I uninstall xp and then use old boot disk like in 98 just to format c??

you can do that...but you don't need to run fdisk because the WinXP setup has a partition/format section in it

If you want to use a win98 boot disk just boot it, and run i386\winnt.exe on the CD

Still, I don't know why you can't just boot to the CD.
