Geforce3 Ti300 Dual Monitors??

The title is WRONG its a Gefroce3 ti300 64 meg card

Im trying to set up dual monitors with my Geforce3 ti300 anyway i got the adapter for the plug ect. got everything hooked up and it worked.. well not quite right all that the monitor is doing is mirroring the primary monitor. Its cool if you want to watch both screens with the same thing..

Im trying to get my desktop to streach over both the monitors. No luck I checked under the DISPLAY window under geforce and the NView tab, but there is no option to have any dual monitors.. I check under the NView special Icon under start > proporties under the window setting, but there is noting in there either..

under my device manager it says that there is only one plug and play monitor.. it that wrong should there be 2?? im not sure if that could be one of the problems but any help would be great.

I need some help thanks in advance!

Ok, this may be total bunk for your card but here is how I stretch my GF4mx420 thru nview (latest software download)

rightclick on the desktop (display settings pops up), select settings tab, select advanced, on mine I now have a tab labled "GeForce4 MX 420" select it. A window now pops out the side. Select nView display mode. Now you are in the spot to select clone, horizontal span, vertical span.

Hope this works for ya,

Incog

heh

Its not bunk that is the correct way to do it.. but here is the problem with that popup NView display mode dose not show. its really strange it should be there but its not. Im trying to figure out how to fix it. I have reinstalled the newest updated drivers removed the display to refresh it but still no luck.

it looks like this

+GeForce3
Screen Adjustment
Display Timing
Color Correction
Performance & Quality Settings
+Direct 3D Settings
Refresh Rate Overrides
OpenGL Settings
Overlay Controls
Desktop Utilities
NVRotate

so that is what is in the popup list.. noting about strech, clone or any other types of display modes.. thank you anyway though anyone else have an idea?

I found this thread on the forum it is the same problem that im having but its not clear on the explination if it is infact that Nvidia would be dumb enough to make a card with dual monitor ability but no support and dosnt work...
