Can't Delete PQI file?

Hello. I made an old image of a drive using Powerquest imaging, and now I have a 3 GB PQI/002 file on my one drive. However, whenever I try to delete it, it says it is in use. I can't even open it in PQI, so it's probably corrupt or something. Any way I can delete it? I've tried rebooting, closing open programs, etc., 100 times over. Thanks.

You could try booting into safe mode and deleting it from there.

Sorry, forgot to mention it--good idea, but I tried it already to no avail ... It's really weird... i've tried the XP psudo-DOS prompt, but still can't get at it... (then again, I'm not too good with dos prompts)

Can you rename the file extension? If so do that reboot then try deleting again.

You should use Drive Image to delete those...there's the feature somewhere in it, I can't remember. Check the help file next time it does it to you and it'll show you how.
