Installing XP

Had a HD partitioned with WinME(c and another OS(d.
I formatted the other OS(dwith my boot disk AND wish to install WinXP which I cannot do thru DOS. Any help. Thanks.

Just pop in the XP disc, reboot...it's cake from there. No need to use DOS at all. All your partitioning/formatting is done during setup.

You may want to change your boot sequence to boot from CD first in the bios.

You may want to change your boot sequence to boot from CD first in the bios.

Years ago Delco batteries had a commercial that showed people in a would be bind by leaving their lights on accidentally and then...
you'd hear the car starting and the people exclaiming "Thank you Delco"!
Only someone who is in a bind could appreciate. Thanks again.
