3.6 Catalyst Drivers
Very simple really - Do the 3.6 Catalysts (the new ones) REQUIRE DX 9 or can I still use DX 8.1?

They can utilize DX9, but DX is backwards compatible as far as I know. They will work just fine with DX8.1, or any previous DX.
