Printer

After much irritation I finally got HP to send me enough info to install a printer on my second computer on my net work. When I click to share ,everything seems to be OK but I do not get it to print. I can see it on the second printer. The two messages I get are" User intervention required" and "User printer offline". I do not have a USB connection to the second printer and I don't know if that is neccesary. I have as the primary computer a WinXP and secondary Win98. I have a KVM switch to transfer from one to the other and a Linsky BEFSR41 router.

Which computer is the printer hooked up to?

I have an HP PS7350 hooked up to my win2k computer via USB.

I can share it with my laptop, no problems. It is also win2k.

The printer is now hooked up to the XP. Guess I'll just by a switch so I can switch from one to the other. Thanks for your reply
