can i change it !!

i have two systems on my computer , windows me and windows 2000 professional, but ther's a problem on win me and i want to reinstall it again
so can i reinstall windows me without reinstalling windows 2000,
please note that i don't want to update windows me but i need to reinstall it .

i think my problem will be a dublication in the startup menu,

what do you think i should do ?

Well, instead of reinstalling ME all together I would reccomend just running a repair on it...not sure if you can but, anyway you can just reinstall it on it's partition and then you have to run a repair on 2k. Running a repair won't make you lose any data or anything lke that.

o.k, i can do that .... but while i'm installing the new copy of windows-me i think it may check the drive C and find win 2k

It will detect Win 2k by saying that setup has found an existing version of Windows. Just do what it says and it will lead you to the screen where you select the correct partition.
