Comp running hot...any suggestions?

Hey I have a AMD 2000XP with an au13 mobo....etc well anyways it is running at about 60Degrees C. I have 4 fans (2 are the PCI slot fans) and I have the side open. I don't know how to cool it down. I just ordered some Arctic Silver 3 thermal compound and a Volcano 11+ and it will be here tomorrow. Do u guys have any suggestions of how to bring the temp down?!?! hopefully u guys do. Oh and by the way it is not in like a little cubby it has a lot of room for air to get in and out. Plz help lol. Thx

Is this with stock cooling? what is your system/ambient temperature?

The AS3 will help a lot. Try to clean out wires to improve airflow though the case. Also the PCI slot fans really don't do much for airflow...make sure you ahve a case fan in the front of the case blowing in, and one (or two if you have a second spot for one) blowing out.

Alright. I have the back foan blowing out and the front blowing in. I also ordered a set of Round IDE's and am getting them tomorrow too so I was thinking of heat managment there. Sys temp is usually around 98F.....I will check later and post it. It is with stock cooling so I think that the new compound and heatsink will help a lot. Thx

If your case will accept them add more fans.
Also, put the side cover back on. With the cover off the 2 case fans you do have are not going to work very well.
The Volcano 11+ will help if your running a stock HSF.
Make sure you apply a very small amount of AS3 to the top of the die when you install the cano 11.

you could put a 120mm fan on top, a blowhole. that would require a dremel though, but it will cool your system down a little.
