T_Dogg21 is on a distinguished road
outlook xp files to outlook on another computer

i have outlook on 2 machines and i need to transfer the inbox, address book, etc.. to another computer with outlook. there are no *.pst files on either comp. i've searched and nothing has shown up. any ideas?

Make sure in Search options you use Advanced>Search in hidden files and folders. By default those options aren't turned on and the .pst files are usually in a hidden folder at:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

You'll have to turn on "View hidden files & folders" in Folder Options if it's not already.

that is for outlook express. does it still work the same for outlook?

and i do have the hidden files showing. even if i have the hidden files showing, do i still have to tell it to search those files?
