Linux Vs Windows! (Mac Also)

Hey Mates,
I dont really know what happened to the other thread I did? Looks like it gave problems, well this is the working one. Enjoy.
Pretty exciting title huh? Ready for the battle? Lets get ready to ruuummblllllllleeee!
This is actually IMO a classic. Although Mac vs Windows is also a one thats why I would but for this sake Mac as a third option in my poll. Happy Mac lovers? In this thread basically what you need to do is to vote on your favorite OS
-Windows
-Linux
-Mac
And then post your respond why you chose to take that option. Easy huh? This will be big! I will also of course vote on my opinion. So is it Linus Torvald or is it Bill Gates? Or an other... You decide, its your choice. Well, lets rock!

My Choice?

Linux of course
I just dont like the MS World and Im tired of buttkissing Windows all the time! I like revolution and this is it. Linux is awesome OS that has changed my way of seeing OS since I was before a total Windows "noob". I just dont like MS mentality and I just want to get rid of that side of the river. Linux is great, and even freeware! Its the best thing that could have happened to the market right now. 90% using Windows in earth! every 10 people 9 use Windows! Thats amazing how no options can lead to this. Most people dont even know something else than Windows (talkin about Linux and Mac now)
Although I respect more the Mac people than I do with the Windows since I consider Macintosh a wonderful OS too. Their mentality is at least healthier than MS IMO. And MAc has been on the market for a long time too. The only bad thing is that it is expensive but let me tell you that OS X is amazing. But Linux is my choice.

God Bless Linus Torvald, and Viva La Revolucion! (Cheguevara)
Regards

I have no vote...

I use windows the most, I have linux also and like it, and I use mac also.

All have their pluses and minuses.

Don't support Che, he was a commi. He's everything America is against.

It really depends on what you are doing. For doing things like games, files sharing, CAD and DOS attacks, Windows is better. For things like servers, web browsing, email and office based stuff I would say Linux. For wasting money, I would say Mac

Aside from games and file sharing (Kazaa), Windows has nothing to offer really..... but games and Kazaa make a very strong argument.

Linux now has that Windows like easy to use feel to it which makes it excellent for office and server type stuff. Open Office + Linux stability + Linux security/reliability = ultimate office productivity machine.

Yeah ..... this topic has been done to death.

Personally, I don't care what anybody else likes/dislikes. I run what I like.

Lets not forget about lack of hardware support, and I hope you aren't on an Exchage server, Browsers still leave alot to be desired, interface is still buggy.

See above reasons, and Linux being more secure is pretty much a misnomer. If properly configured both are extremely secure. But, if you get an admin that has no clue what they are doing, both are swiss cheese. Windows gets hit more because there are simply more of them out there. Kinda like comparing the # of Ferraris in accidents with the # of Chevys. Linux still has a LONG way to go....

Lack of hardware support? Are you serious? All cards in my PC, my digital camera and my scanner all work on Mandrake 9.1 perfectly.

The security thing is not a misnomer. A Windows computer can be completely destroyed by having 1 user who is not even an admin open a bad file. In Linux you need the root password which is encrypted. Tell me, how does one go about getting this root password?
