avi file can't be read

Help, help, help! I have an avi movie file from Kazaa that cannot be read by any program, and I've tried quicktime, windows media player, my own dvd software, and even jukebox. Mostly it just says the format is not supported, but I can't convert the format either. What is going on?

Oh yeah, the file is attached so anyone can look at it.

Its prolly just a fake movie, happens ALL the time. Theres way too many jackasses on kazaa these days. This is especially probable if you're trying to download unreleased movies

do you own this movie on tape or dvd?

I attached the file to the thread. It's pirates of the caribbean, and it supposedly came from tmd and is supposed to work.

sorry man but cant help you out with a Cam of "Pirates of the Caribbean" We are not that kind of forum.
