in the orginal half life you didnt buy things, you found them an used them. sort of like the new game should be. Why is there a buy menu at this part? and who is it buying it from?

then visit the chrissy link i provided above click on the alpha links(2 ofem r there)-->the overnet window pop ups automatically the download starts.there r lots of ppl on the waiting list but u can take ur chance if u want

or just wait for the final vers
