SMTP Virtual Server...

Ok, I'm trying to setup a spam filter on my Exchange 2000 server and the filter need to interface with the default SMTP Virtual Server. My problem comes when trying to start the default SMTP Virtual Server, it times out and will not start. Have any of you encountered this problem before and know of a possible solution?

Try reinstalling the SMTP server service, it worked for me.
