Getting rid of linux?

My friend install linux on a second hard drive and now dual boots, how can he get rid of it without messing up windows?

Format the /mbr? But How?

With XP, boot off the CD and you can rebuild the MBR. It's the only clean way I've found to get rid of LILO.

It gives an option for system recovery and takes you into a command shell. It's not DOS, but it lets you do this.

He says windows doesn't know what the fdisk /mbr command is

Nevermind, we used a win98 bootdisk
