Kids AGP universal card voltage

Hello, I have a NVIDIA TNT2 M64 video card, with AGP 2X/4X (AGP 1.0 and AGP 2.0), with AGP universal AGP connector (1.5V key and 3.3V key).
I would like to know if is safe connect this type of video card in a mobo for P4, with 1.5V only AGP slot ?
Thanks.

TNT2-M64, if 4x AGP capable, is of course compatible with 4x-only or 4x/8x mainboards.

Note that I didn't check whether TNT2-M64 is actually 4x AGP capable - it's just that most product specs suggest so. YMMV.

If it's got the key for it, the video card should work fine.

I think all the 3.3V AGP slots were on the older motherboards that only supported 1x/2x AGP cards.

Yes ... but the problem is that there ARE a handful of 1x/2x-only CARDS out there that are keyed universal. And there are a handful of 4x-only mainboards out there (early i845 chipset, mainly) whose AGP slots are keyed universal.

Keyed for disaster ...
