Antec Thermal Grease?

My cpu right now is ideling at 60*C and it thinks its time i get some thermal paste and a new heatsink. I was wondering if the antec grease is any good. The "Arctic Silver's NEW Premium High-Density Thermal Compound: Ceramique" is just a few bucks more........would u guys go with the artic over the antec? Also, right now i just have a 1333mhz cpu but in a month or two will be upgrading to a barton 2500, so i would like the paste to be able to handle the barton also.

thanks

I've never tried it, but Arctic Silver 3 is tried and proven (many MANY times over). I've used Arctic Silver products for a long time and I trust them to make quality stuff to make my computing experience easier =)

I have Artic Silver 3 and Antec Refrence, for some odd reason I dont se a single difference, I have used both and I a few days ago I mixed em cause I was to low on AS3 to finish the Job, and for some odd reason it dropped a degree or 2 from using straight AS3????

But If I was you I would get the Artic. It susposed to be better.

I am not sure about the new stuff, but any other silver based thermal compound, about once a month, I hear in reviews that Ceramique does not much run near as much, so with Ceramique I am guessing once every month and a half, buts thats just a guess.

thermal pads kind of suck compared to thermal paste...
The pads are for the long run. You probably won't need to change it for a very long time, if at all.

I'm using AS Ceramique right now and I love it. There was a slight difference in temperature from just the regular paste stuff that comes with most heatsinks.... I should know, within the past year I've been through FOUR heatsinks on the same processor, along with a thermal pad, and three different types of grease.
