i have been using gaelon, so when i went to clean out my internet cac he, i clicked clean and the sytem locked up For 3 months i have never had a lockup. now whenver i try to use it, it says blah blah blah gaelon was terminated last session do you want to restore and i say no, and it locks up again. the cpu and ram usages skyrocket. what could be causing this? is there a way to fix it?
any chance this is an nvidia card? there is a gtk2 fix in the latest driver.

i really dont know what kind of video card it is, my gf2 stopped working so i threw in some crappy 8mb video card i found lying in my closet. even if that was an nvidia, the drivers probably wouldnt work.
