Outdoors Can't connect to ident and ip ftps

I had the bugbear worm virus recently, but now I have gotten rid of it, I can't connect to any ftps that need port 113 (ident)

I have looked at everything and can't work it out....

Any help would be appreciated!

what operating system are you on?
what client or software are you using to ftp?
do you have firewall software installed or are you behind one? perhaps it is blocking all traffic to that port

Thanx for replying man...

I have WIN XP running and connect via flash fxp (latyest build, version 2.1 I think)

I do have a firewall, I use Tiny, but I have even tried to connect with it turned off and I still get the same problem.

Turning the fw off doesn't always turn the engine off.
Turning the fw to 'allow all traffic' might work better.
Or, you could make a new rule (tiny was a rule based fw right?) to allow all traffic to ident port.
