XP Boot Problem: Keeps Rebooting

I really messed up XP today.

I was running Camtasia (like Fraps) and BF1942 for the first time and then my computer froze up while trying to make a movie. It was lagging REALLY bad and I tried to close it to no avail. So I did the manual reboot since I couldn't do anything else by pushing the button my my chassis.

On the next reboot my computer wouldn't make it past the splash screen from now on because It reboots to post in like .5 seconds repeatedly.

No Safe Mode (splash reboot)
No Normal Mode (splash reboot)
No Previous Settings that work (splash reboot)

Running in Windows 98 right now, but I'm not sure whether to be happy or not because Win98 reminds me of why I use XP...

I ran scandisk, ran norton disk doctor, no errors it could find. I don't know what to do now besides re-install XP but I don't want to have to do that. If there is any other way to get it working again that'd be great.

Dual booting saves a$$e$.

Help and Suggestions for getting back into XP is appreciated.

Send a message via Yahoo to kendo
you can boot off of your xp installation cd and run the repair option instead of reinstalling

Cool.

I'll try that later.

Thanks.
