THe Nforce2 chipset has kinda of a flaky bios IMO. The is always chance of conflets. I like my system is problem prone. And I know people with the exact same system with no problems.

The BIOS doesn't come for the chipset, it comes for the motherboard...motherboard manufacturers just haven't handled instructions to and from the chipset well.

A lot of people seem to run these newer DX9 generation Radeon cards on nForce2 platforms just fine. I've seen quite a few posts now of people asking the same question and getting responses from the people with the noted hardware running flawlessly.

This is the case.. I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe and a ATI 9500 running flawlessly, I haven't had any problems in windows 2000/XP.

Try linux and I'm screwed I haven't got these two to work togheter in 3d....
