Soyo kt333 Ultra Dragon Platinum ED

I got this motherboard a long time ago becuase I wanted to try an AMD but never used it. Just wondering if it was any good for todays games.
Here are some specs
it supports DDR333/266/200
Support AMD Sockrt A, Duron, Athlon, Athlon XP Processor.

I am thinking of building another pc next to my P4 3 GHz and try a Nvidia fx 5900 ultra card instead of my ati 9700 and a Athlon xp chip ( I am hoping a 3200+ chip will work).

Yeah, it would work great. I used a KT333 Dragon Lite and it worked with my 1700+ tbred b running at 2200mhz with a GeForce4. It would be great for today's games if you have the cpu and video card for it.

what do you mean by "good for todays games"?
Generally games are more affected by the video card than the mobo...
This is a good board in general but it is a generation or two old as far as technology goes... The N-force is most gamers choice today.

I'm running a Nforce2 board (Asus A7N8X Deulxe) and it works great.

The memory looks weird because it has a heat spreader on it to help dissapate heat. It should fit.
