dial-up modem what's good & cheep?

Hi all, I've got most of the stuff ordered for my first computer build. Still undeceided on a good cheap dial-up modem. I live in the sticks (no dsl , etc.). Also good cheap floppy drive. Any suggestions. Will be running winxp. Thanks

It dont matter to much on the modem you get, back in the day I remeber Conaxant was a good Modem Company.

I have an Intel 536ep modem that works great...I think it costed around $15 at WalMart.

OK thanks...any suggestions on the floppy drive?

I am not even sure who the manufacturer of my floppy is...it is just a cheap one I picked up. Never had a problem...I have only used it around 10 times though too.
