XP FATAL ERROR!!! PLEASE HELP

Hi i have a terrible problem.....I have windows XP professional...
the thing is that when i connect to the internet after about 5 min a fatal error pops up....it says "close all programs, all unsaved data will be lost. the computer will shut down in 1 min" (something like that) and it also says
"The system is shutting down. This shutdown was initiated by NT Authority\System Windows must now restart because RPC terminated unexpectedly."
and then... shut down
WHATs THAT ALL ABOUT?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
any ideas??? help please'??????

Yep, you got it to. I had 3 machines infected. All were running antivirus that was updated on the 11th. Mine would show a problem in svchost.exe and start the shutdown process.

Is this worm hitting only xp systems? I'm running 2000pro. So far I feel lucky, I havn't got the worm yet. (KNOCK ON WOOD). I got zone alarm running, nortons running, two different pop-up stoppers running.
