IE will not display .gif files.

This is a first for me. I have a machine here that will not show gifs in IE. Jpegs and png files work fine. I just get a red x when it's a gif. It doesn't matter what site I got to. They all do it. Any ideas would be great

It's 5.0 and apparently "just started happening" over the weekend. I was thinking it might be some kind of virus, but so far it looks clean. I'm going to run 5.5 on it in a minute to see what that does.

Going from 5.0 to 5.5 fixed it
