Monitor Flickering

For a few months I've been having a lot of trouble with my monitor, ever since I got it (2 years ago) I've been using 85hz refresh rate. I got a new desk and all and I moved it into it and now whenever I run the refresh rate over 60hz the monitor flickers. Also whenever I play a game the monitor flickers, its driving me insane :P. I know its not the graphics card because I ran this computer at my dads house and high refresh rates and no flickers, its it possible I may have knocked something loose inside the monitor?

You may have put it next to an unshielded power line in the house. Or if the cord from the monitor is too close to a high-power source it'll do strange stuff.

You know, I think we had the same monitors at work and they did the same thing. We'd reinstall the drivers and they'd quit for a day, then they'd do it again. We ended up returning them all.

Damn, and I thought I bumped it, lol. Gah, I wish I had the papers and I could return this thing. Oh well, I'll just look for a 90 dollars 19inch somewhere that'll work ten times better than this piece of crap :P.
