Excel Macro Help

Good Morning,

I was trying to set-up some cells to autofill when a value was entered. I first tried to use a macro but that didn't work. I then tried to use conditional formatting and it worked great so I deleted the macro. Now, everytime I open the spreadsheet sheet I get a message saying that the document has a macro. I have deleted the only macro on that sheet. How do I get rid of the message.

You might have attached the module to a sheet rather than the module tree.

Does anything show up when you click on tools macro's

No, The macro list is empty.

How simple would it be to copy sheet by sheet to a new workbook and then hit save?

That worked great.

I moved all sheets to a new book and everything is fine!

Why is it that my head can't find the simple answers??!!

Well that was kinda a dirty solution but it worked so who cares.

On occasion I have had some quirks with spreadsheets which defied logic and this solution has worked most times.


Careful that none of the formulas refer to the original sheet it will appear to work until you move the file to a new machine.
