Temp monitor front panel

Since I am water-cooling, I need to know the temps of different parts of my system. Right now I want to monitor my CPU, my Video card, and my NorthBridge. I am buying a case that has a 1 temp monitor in it already and I expect to use that for my CPU. How do I get the temps of the others?

I was hoping for a front panel. I don't need to control any fans, all I need is temperature. It's hard to find one that has TWO temp monitors. Also, I need an alarm. What is the point of monitoring temps, if I don't know when they get to high.

It's very hard to find something like this?

Anyone know of one? I found a really awsome dual temp monitor that has an alarm, but it's one that you mount somewhere. Is there anyway to somehow MAKE my own front panel for it and stick it in there?

Any suggestions are good.

1. I would trust readings from software by built in sensors over thermo detection devices.

2. If you do want a panel to do it, I recommend the Digital Doc 5 ... with that you can read temperatures and control fans if you need to.

You know what just hit me?

Even if you monitored EVERY single temp in your computer...what is that going to do for you? If takes..what...around 3 seconds for a Athlon to burn-up. If a temp monitor goes off, there is no way you can shutdown in 3 seconds. The only REALY way to protect yourself is with a Hardware monitor, like Telexen said.

Darn. The Epox 8RDA+ doesn't have a hardware protection it looks like.

Actually in the manual of the mobo it says it does, but I heard some people on line say it doesn't work.

I'm thinking of just buying something ike this... http://www.bestbyte.net/Product.cfm?...8&Keyword=temp
It looks like it is a dual sensor. IT has an alarm and I can at least mod it into the case somehow.

I run MBM5 with Shutdown Now! ... the one time I was tinkering with my W/C setup and forgot to plug it in so the pump had no power the system shut down as soon as the diode got to 60c
