The card could be getting to hot, or the memory on the card could be running too fast, if your tweaking took you down that path.

If you alleviate the heat issue and the problems clear up, your card should be fine. Usually there is no permanent damage if the card is still working. Try running with the case cover off for a while, possibly with a fan blowing into the case. If things clear up,
