is windows blinds any good? i hear it makes your system unstable??

The last version I used was a memory hog.

For Windows 2000 and below - Yay

For XP - Nay ... you're better off to find a theme you like.

I've always wondered about that, about how much memory does it use 100Mb? 200Mb????

I don't hear of too many people using it. I tried it once and it did make my system unstable, but that was Win98. I don't know about 2000 or XP. I tend to stay away from performance hogging apps, and I believe this is a resource hog.

I find most of the WB themes amateurishly done. The XP skins are far better.

I've had a hard time even finding a nice XP Theme (though I haven't looked to hard). Most of them have a "motif" and look kinda foolish to me. I'm using the standard Silver theme with my own wallpaper and a Winamp skin of my choosing.
