AGP CARD Half SIZED!

HI All

I am just building a mini system for my living room and got a real nice micro atx case from Antec to go with my micro atx mobo, problem is either I use onboard video 64m shared or I find a half sized agp card. I've looked everywhere and can't find a thing anyone have any ideas?not really looking for high end graphics card just something that will play most games ,divx, and dvd movies.

thanks in advance

Look around for some old TNT 2 M64 or GeForce 2 MX cards, they tend to have smaller pcb's than most other cards.

Yeah great, a TNT2-M64 or GF2MX is REALLY going to improve things.

There are quite a few low profile Radeon cards, 7500 and 9000. Do look around.

It's not a powerhouse, but it sould do well for older games and DVD type stuff.

radeon 7500

that card looks like it might do the trick Darth I'm picking up the case next wed I will see if my existing ATI Radeon 7000 32 mb ddr card fits in the case if not that crucial card looks small enough plus has twice the mem. and half the price I was expecting to pay

I'll keep you guys posted

in case you don't like that one.

I own the 2nd one myself. Nice card, about the same as the Crucial one, but plus a DVI-I port for dualhead operation.

Thanks peter I have radeon 7000 similar to 3rd link but slightly bigger profile ,

the 1st link is unfortunately 8x agp wich mobo doesn't support and the second like you said is similar but I am setting up with TV SET so dvi isn't necessary but thanks anyway

the 7500 seems to be the best bet out of the bunch and since I already ordered it ... well you know how it is

Thanks again guys.
